Secondary orbital melanomas are a kind of malignant pigmented tumors that can come from a variety of sources. The most common initial tumor is choroidal melanoma, which typically spreads to the orbit through the scleral channel, although it can also migrate through the optic nerve in rare cases. Its pathologic kind primarily consists of highly invasive and metastatic epithelial cells. According to recent research, surgery is the primary treatment. The most often recommended course of action is enucleation of orbital contents while maintaining eyelid integrity, typically paired with chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The authors report a rare case of massive orbital melanoma after primary choroidal melanoma in this article.
