This study introduces the first global 30-meter land productivity dynamics (LPD) dataset. This high-resolution data supports monitoring land degradation neutrality (SDG 15.3) and enables targeted interventions.

The remaining usable amount of energy is called the net primary productivity (NPP). In terrestrial ecosystems, NPP is driven by climate, while light penetration and nutrient availability drive NPP in aquatic ecosystems.
