    Background:

    • Autoimmune Polyendocrinopathy-Candidosis-Ectodermal Dystrophy (APECED) is a rare autoimmune disorder.
    • APECED presents with hypoparathyroidism, adrenocortical failure, and chronic candidosis, with variable expressivity.
    • Other manifestations include endocrine deficiencies and ectodermal dystrophy.
