At its October 2024 General Assembly, the World Medical Association adopted a new, modified version of the Declaration of Helsinki. We analyze the novelties of the Declaration to present the new version of the Declaration to the biomedical research community by briefly reviewing the most important changes of the document. In the Appendix, a professionally verified text translated from the English original into Hungarian is published.
