The hip represents an important part of the female body silhouette, its anatomical alteration conditions an evident asymmetry. Both reconstructive surgery and aesthetic surgery of body contouring offer different options for correction. In this work, we present a case where both disciplines are combined, after performing a double-pedicled DIEP flap by abdominoplasty approach for the correction of a significant volume deficit at the hip level, secondary to sequelae of trauma.Level of Evidence V This journal requires that authors assign a level of evidence to each article.
