Modified Suture Button Latarjet Procedure With Coracoacromial Ligament and Pectoralis Minor Preservation: An Approach
1Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, The First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University, Wenzhou, China.
Abstract:
The main mechanism of the Latarjet procedure for maintaining anterior shoulder stability is attributed to the "triple locking" factors. During the traditional Latarjet procedure, the subscapularis split is inevitably, which is one of the main difficulties in surgical technique and sources of complications. We introduce a procedure in which the coracoid graft can pass through the subscapularis without splitting based on our previous modified suture button Latarjet procedure with preservation of the coracoacromial ligament and pectoralis minor.
