    Summary

    This study found that female Hodgkin's disease patients had a higher risk of developing second cancers, particularly stomach cancer. Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma patients did not show this increased risk.

    Background:

    • To investigate the incidence and types of second malignancies in patients with HD and NHL.
    • To compare the observed rates of second cancers with expected rates based on population data.
