Summary

Chest compression-synchronized ventilation (CCSV) improved oxygenation and ventilation during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). However, this study found CCSV was not superior to intermittent positive-pressure ventilation (IPPV) in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest patients.
