Decreasing the Risk of Early Sub-Therapeutic Tacrolimus Troughs on Short-Term Outcomes in Low-Moderate Risk Kidney

Kidney transplant recipients on rabbit anti-thymocyte globulin induction with sub-therapeutic tacrolimus levels at discharge had similar short-term graft outcomes. This indicates that achieving therapeutic tacrolimus troughs before discharge may not be essential for successful kidney transplants.

- Delaying discharge solely to achieve therapeutic tacrolimus troughs may not be necessary in this patient population.
