Abstract:
Occurrence of patent foramen ovale occluder dislodgment is uncommon. Our patient had a unique mix of an atrial septal aneurysm and widened aortic sinus, rendering it a challenging high-risk complex patent foramen ovale. We performed a second interventional operation within 2 h to successfully remove the dislodged occluder and re-seal the patent foramen ovale.
