    Summary

    A new microsphere surface technique offers a viable alternative for measuring cochlear blood flow. This method provides similar results to the conventional radioactive microsphere technique in animal models.

    Background:

    • Accurate measurement of cochlear blood flow is crucial for understanding inner ear function and diseases.
    • The conventional radioactive microsphere technique is established but may have limitations.

    • To compare a novel microsphere surface technique with the conventional radioactive microsphere method for measuring cochlear blood flow.
