Spatial evolution and resilience analysis of marine eco-environmental protection enterprises

Abstract:
Marine eco-environmental protection enterprises are an important part of protecting marine ecology and promoting the development of marine economy. Based on the data of marine eco-environmental protection enterprises in eleven coastal provinces (municipalities) of China from 2000 to 2022, combined with the marine eco-environmental protection regulations, this paper analyzes the evolution process of the concentrated field and spatial distribution of marine eco-environmental protection enterprises. Then, from the perspective of network connectivity, four marine eco-environmental protection networks are constructed with the services provided by enterprises as nodes. The resilience of marine eco-environment protection enterprises is analyzed from the network and node perspective. The results show that: (1) In the past 20 years, the number of marine eco-environmental protection enterprises has continued to rise, and the industry coverage has become increasingly extensive. The development of marine eco-environmental protection industry can be divided into initial budding period, stable development period, accelerated development period, and high-speed golden period. (2) The spatial evolution of the enterprises shows a "one core and multiple centers" local agglomeration characteristics and the industrial clusters gradually spread outwards. (3) Marine eco-environmental protection network has the characteristics of small-world network and scale-free network and a large number of services are redundant. The whole network can be relatively strong to cope with random disruption risks, but the whole network will be seriously affected when the critical node fails.
