Hormonal changes during the menstrual cycle (MC) do not significantly impact body composition (BC) estimates from bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), air-displacement plethysmography (ADP), or skin-fold calipometry (CAL). These methods reliably measure body composition regardless of the MC phase or hormonal contraceptive use.
