Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the impact of action observation training (AOT) on gait ability and cognition in older adults diagnosed with dementia.
  • To compare the effectiveness of AOT against a control condition involving general exercise and scenic video observation.

  • A 5-week randomized controlled trial with 36 participants (18 experimental, 18 control).
  • Intervention included general group exercises, AOT (experimental group) or scenic video (control group), and functional training.
