Evaluation of ocular surface microbiota in children with blepharoconjunctivitis

Children with blepharoconjunctivitis have significantly higher bacterial diversity on their ocular surfaces compared to healthy children. Specific bacterial densities, including Micrococcus and Staphylococcus, were elevated in patients, suggesting potential diagnostic and therapeutic targets.
