Summary

Hidden populations using illicit drugs are often underestimated. This study reveals unregistered individuals, particularly for NPS, ecstasy, and ketamine, are younger, more female, and employed, highlighting the need for better detection and polydrug use awareness.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To precisely estimate the prevalence and characteristics of hidden populations using illicit drugs.
  • To develop a methodology for identifying and characterizing unregistered drug users.
