Lacertus Syndrome Diagnosis With the Orthogonal Kinesiotaping Test

Lacertus syndrome is a dynamic compression of the median nerve at the elbow, diagnosed clinically using the Hagert triad and additional tests. The orthogonal kinesiotaping test, an evolution of the lacertus antagonist test, provides higher sensitivity (95%) and specificity (89%), enabling comprehensive upper limb assessment. This simple diagnostic tool improves patient understanding and supports both physiotherapeutic and surgical management strategies.
