We present the case of a paediatric patient with recurrent lymphatic malformation at high risk for impending airway compromise due to intracystic bleeding. It was unconventionally managed with angioembolisation and sirolimus with an excellent outcome. This case illustrates the importance of a multidisciplinary treatment approach and strongly supports the use of angioembolisation as a valid alternative to surgical intervention for intracystic haemorrhage, along with medical treatments such as sirolimus.
