Deferring blood donors with out-of-range blood pressure: Does it decrease the risk of adverse reactions?

Blood donation blood pressure (BP) deferrals are not associated with vasovagal reactions (VVR). Withdrawing BP deferrals did not increase VVR incidence, supporting their removal for blood donors.

- The findings provide strong evidence to support the discontinuation of BP deferrals in blood donation practices.
