Tachycardia is a condition marked by an abnormally fast or irregular heart rate, surpassing the typical resting rate. In adults, tachycardia is characterized by a pulse rate ranging from 100 to 180 beats per minute. Summary

Bundle branch reentrant ventricular tachycardia (BBRT) can occur after TAVI. This case shows some BBRT instances are transient, resolving without permanent ablation or pacing.

Background:

  • Macro-re-entrant ventricular tachycardia (VT) involving the cardiac conduction system is a recognized complication.
  • Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) procedures carry risks, including cardiac arrhythmias.
  • Bundle branch reentrant ventricular tachycardia (BBRT) is a specific type of VT involving the right and left bundle branches and ventricular septum.

  • To highlight BBRT in the differential diagnosis for patients undergoing TAVI.
