Pharmacovigilance analysis of small bowel bleeding associated with NSAIDs

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID)-associated small bowel bleeding risk is not significantly altered by proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). However, rebamipide and probiotics may offer protection, with older adults and males being at higher risk for aspirin-induced bleeding.
