The Scratch & Go technique is an innovative approach used to treat coronary ostial calcified. Using specialized microcatheters and wires, to modify the proximal cap of a chronic total occlusion (CTO), operators can achieve optimal access and directionality, facilitating the crossing of challenging lesions. This interventional approach, especially if combined with adjunctive therapies such as intravascular lithotripsy, is particularly beneficial for addressing calcified lesions that are often resistant to conventional methods.
