[Hemorheological parameters in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease]

Blood filtration, hematocrit and fibrinogenemia have been evaluated in 80 patients with cerebrovascular ischemic disease and in 60 control subjects. We compared the results between patients and controls and between patients with and without risk factors. The filtration time of all patients and that of patients without risk factors resulted significantly higher than that of controls. The possible pathogenetic implications of our results are discussed.
