    Summary

    Myofibroblasts are present in all fibromatoses, with higher numbers in palmar, plantar, and nodular fasciitis. Their frequency correlates with lesion cellularity but not recurrence.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To compare the incidence and frequency of myofibroblasts across different types of fibromatoses.
    • To investigate the relationship between myofibroblast presence and lesion characteristics.
