Conclusions:

  • BBS presents with significant gastrointestinal symptoms like diarrhea and malnutrition.
  • Celiac disease may influence BBS patient outcomes, particularly albumin levels and mortality.
  • Further research is needed to establish optimal diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for BBS.
