Abstract:
A literature review of the current state of the etiology and pathogenesis of genomic imprinting disorders such as Angelman syndrome and Prader-Willi syndrome was performed. The mechanisms of the development of sleep disorders associated with these syndromes related to impaired expression of specific genes are considered in detail. The article focuses on modern sleep disorder treatment methods in Angelman and Prader-Willi syndromes and shows their effectiveness and prospects for use in clinical practice.
