Abstract:
Aim of the study was to systematically develop a strategic plan for the information system of a new institute of physiotherapy in a German medical center. We modeled the information system's current and future state by architecture and process models. Source of information were interviews with personnel. A strategic management plan for developing the institute's information system has been proposed. A migration path has been established with 23 tactical projects over the next 3 years to accomplish to attain strategic management goals. This work is the first step towards a reference model for physiotherapy institutes.
