Abstract:
The RM4Health project aims to develop an intelligent ecosystem for remote health monitoring of elderly individuals, particularly those residing in nursing homes or living alone. This system integrates wearable devices to continuously track vital signs, pill dispenser usage, and daily activities. The Portuguese use case focuses on evaluating the system's feasibility, acceptance, and usability in real-world settings. This paper highlights the study protocol, outlining the detailed plan for participant recruitment, data collection and analysis, as well as the approach to assess the system's impact on healthcare delivery for elderly individuals.
