Abstract:
Midwifery students commonly lack confidence in supporting breastfeeding, which leads to greater reliance on mothers' autonomy. This research explores the acceptability and experiences of using 360-degree Virtual Reality (VR) video to teach midwifery students about breastfeeding support. Semi-structured interviews with 13 students generated three main themes: physical and technical challenges in VR use, shifting perspectives in education, and deep engagement through immersion. Initial findings suggest that immersive VR offers a positive and impactful learning experience.
