Gender-affirming surgery is widely used to address gender dysphoria experienced by the transgender and gender diverse community. The forehead plays a key role in gender perception, making forehead surgery one of the most critical components of facial gender-affirming procedures. These surgeries include hairline advancement, reduction of forehead and temporal recession, brow lift, and frontal cranioplasty. As technology advances, innovations such as computer-aided design and manufacturing offer new possibilities, highlighting the need for further research to better quantify surgical outcomes.
