How can we support the individual breastfeeding experience? Quantitative results from a mixed-methods study

• Maternal comfort is a pivotal factor influencing breastfeeding duration.
• Strategies to enhance maternal comfort should be integrated into maternal care.
• Further qualitative research will explore individual experiences and identify parent-centered strategies for sustainable breastfeeding.
