Inhibition of terminal complement complex formation alleviates murine antibody-mediated TRALI

Transfusion-related acute lung injury (TRALI) involves complement activation. This study shows the membrane attack complex (MAC) plays a key role in TRALI, and inhibiting MAC formation may treat this condition.
