Non-pulsatile tinnitus (NPT) significantly increases the risk of developing generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and major depression (MD). Pulsatile tinnitus (PT) patients showed a bidirectional link with these psychiatric conditions, suggesting integrated mental health care is crucial.
