The catalytic esterification of methoxyarenes remains challenging, especially for C(sp3)-O bond functionalization. Herein, we report a simple and efficient method using nBu4NBr as a catalyst to directly convert methoxyarenes and acyl bromides into esters under solvent-free conditions. This strategy provides a simple and efficient approach, achieving yields of up to 95%.
