Zmym2 Alters Expression of Key Craniofacial Genes

Zinc-finger MYM-containing protein 2 (Zmym2) does not directly interact with Six1. However, Zmym2 indirectly antagonizes Six1 function, promoting neural plate and neural crest gene expression during cranial placode development.
