Ceria-based ceramic materials (M0.01Ce0.99O2) were synthesized by a co-precipitation method and sintered at 1000 °C for 4 h in air. The electrical conductivity of these systems was measured by AC impedance spectroscopy at 500-750 °C in air. Introduction of small amounts of dopants such as copper, bismuth, samarium, and neodymium increased this parameter by 4-5 times. However, the optimal dopants were Bi or Nd due to their higher conductivity and oxide ion transference number.
