Abstract:
We present a case of an elderly female with a complex medical history who presented with unexplained hypoxia and cyanosis. Despite an extensive workup, including imaging and laboratory investigations, the underlying cause remained elusive until a history of medication use was uncovered, leading to the diagnosis of methemoglobinaemia. This case highlights the importance of a thorough and systematic approach in evaluating patients with unexplained hypoxia.
