Summary

The African Excellence in Research Initiative (AFRIESEARCHI) established a gender in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine (STEMM) mentorship program in Zimbabwe. This initiative successfully equipped 30 researchers, primarily women, with vital research skills, demonstrating the impact of formal mentorship.
