Abstract:
High altitude pulmonary hypertension (HAPH) is a specific type of pulmonary hypertension, caused by chronic exposure to hypobaric hypoxic environment in highlands. Recently, some important studies regarding the pathogenesis and treatments for HAPH have been published. Based on these latest publications, we performed an updated review focusing on the pathogenesis and treatments for HAPH.
