Summary

Combined pediatric-adult trauma centers (CPACs) admit more children overall and to the intensive care unit (ICU) than pediatric-only hospitals (POHs). However, adjusted analyses show similar risks for complications and mortality, indicating areas for improvement at CPACs.

Purpose of the Study:
