Long cardiac troponin T forms in a healthy reference population

Healthy individuals show low concentrations of long cardiac troponin T (cTnT), a more specific biomarker for myocardial infarction (MI). This finding suggests long cTnT is a reliable marker independent of age and comorbidities.
