Abstract:
A phosphorus (P), and boron (B) enhanced N-doped carbon nanofiber materials was prepared via a facile electrospinning method as a binder-free anode for lithium-ion storage applications. The triple-doped binder-free electrode demonstrated a high specific capacity of 611.2 mA h g-1 at a current density of 0.1 A g-1 and a high capacity retention of 94.8% after 500 cycles. This work demonstrates that adding P and B in N-doped carbon materials can significantly improve electrochemical properties and provides a methodology for the development of carbon-based materials for energy storage applications.
