Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), or shock therapy, remains a critical biomedical intervention for severe, treatment-resistant depression. Summary

This case study reports the first known safe combination of KarXT, a novel antipsychotic, and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). The findings suggest KarXT and ECT can be administered concurrently without adverse effects.
