High-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) improved visual working memory (VWM) in mild cognitive impairment (MCI) patients. This enhancement was linked to altered brainwave interactions, specifically alpha-gamma cross-frequency coupling (CFC).
