Abstract:
Hydrogen supply chains in Mexico are faced with intricate challenges that require a strategic approach. These challenges are complex, involving technical, economic, environmental, and regulatory factors. To tackle them effectively, we need a thorough strategy that considers how these factors interact with each other. In this study, we examine the hydrogen supply chain from the perspective of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) stakeholders in accordance with Community Operational Research (COR) assumptions. The purpose of this study is to develop enablers for improving the system. To achieve this, the Strategic Intervention and Design of Systems (STRIDES) framework is employed, integrating methodologies like Critical Systems Heuristics (CSH), Robust Analysis (RA), Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA), and Trends Impact Radar (TIR). Using a multi-criteria decision analysis approach, enablers are formulated taking into account the interests of public stakeholders and community-oriented concerns. Finally, to enhance our evaluations and generate accurate insights, we delved into the most probable scenarios based on reports and futurology research. These two scenarios were H2B and NDC compliance. Based on these scenarios, we conducted evaluations of the enablers using Fuzzy GRA to gain a comprehensive understanding of their significance.

Reduction of Alkenes: Asymmetric Catalytic Hydrogenation
The metal catalyst used can be either heterogeneous or homogeneous. When hydrogenation of an alkene generates a chiral center, a pair of enantiomeric products is expected to form. However, an enantiomeric excess of one of the products can be facilitated using an enantioselective reaction or an...

Metals like palladium, platinum, and nickel are commonly used in their solid forms — fine powder on an inert surface. As these catalysts remain insoluble in the reaction mixture, they are referred to as heterogeneous catalysts.
