    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the effects of spatially and temporally separated antigen and adjuvant on immune responses in mice.
    • To determine the impact of intraperitoneal adjuvant injection on antigen-specific antibody production and cell-mediated immunity.

    • Mice were immunized with sheep red blood cells (SRBC) as antigen and a water-in-oil emulsion as adjuvant.
    • Antigen and adjuvant were administered via different routes (intraperitoneal and intravenous) and at different times.
