    Atrial septal aneurysm (ASA) is a rare heart anomaly diagnosed during life. Echocardiography identified 23 cases, revealing diverse motion patterns but no correlation with phonomechanocardiographic findings.

    Background:

    • Atrial septal aneurysm (ASA) is a rare cardiac anomaly.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To report the incidence and characteristics of atrial septal aneurysm diagnosed via echocardiography.
    • To investigate the association of ASA with other cardiovascular diseases and its phonomechanocardiographic findings.

    • Retrospective analysis of 4,000 routine echocardiograms.
    • Identification and characterization of atrial septal aneurysm cases.
    • Review of patient history for associated cardiovascular conditions.

    • 23 cases of ASA were identified (0.575% prevalence).
