Summary

Central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO) is a medical emergency. The TenCRAOS trial investigates if tenecteplase (TNK) improves vision more than aspirin (ASA) for CRAO patients within 4.5 hours of symptom onset.

Background:

  • Central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO) is an ophthalmic emergency with a high risk of permanent blindness.
