Summary
Submucosal tunneling endoscopic resection (STER) offers a shorter postoperative hospital stay compared to endoscopic full-thickness resection (EFTR). STER-based Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery (NOTES) is a safe and effective method for extra-gastrointestinal stromal tumors (EGISTs).
