Recording of postoperative complications, contracture recurrence (>20°), and reoperations.

Main Results:

39 digits in 28 patients were analyzed, with a median follow-up of 5.0 years.
Recurrence occurred in 16 joints (36%) at a median of 3.7 years post-procedure.
Younger age and male sex were independently associated with contracture recurrence (P=.003 and P=.014, respectively).
Nine MP joints (20%) required reoperation within a median of 4.1 years.

Conclusions:

Mini-open partial fasciotomy is a safe and effective treatment for pretendinous Dupuytren contracture affecting MP and PIP joints.
Approximately 1 in 5 joints required repeat intervention within 5 years.
Factors such as younger age and male sex predict recurrence, guiding patient selection and follow-up strategies.
